I always forget and have to look it up everytime.

The other one used to be harassment.
I finally got it in my head, "One and two... one r and two s's."
I'll have to do that for occurred, "Two and two... two c's, two r's... two c's, two r's..."

been away from the vox for quite a while.
currently getting the ideas together for my bowling b-day party in march. was nervous about it at first, but i'm trying to go against my nature and just relax and let things happen.
i'm such a worrier. i've only invited people who i know are laid back and nonjudgmental.
a party is supposed to be fun.

recently was given a fun task...
using Photoshop, make up a banner for an office's UPS top ten rules.
i have a few ideas.
i hope they like it.
that'll be part of my sunday.
the other part, hopefully, will involve a trip to Chinatown for Chinese New Year.
how many times are you in the san fran area around Chinese New Year?
for me, that would be, uh, never.
i also want to go to francis coppola's rubicon restaurant, have a great meal and some good wine.
that'll all be my reward for finishing the banner, a few soil boring logs and a resume and cover letter for a job location that's literally 60 seconds away from my house.
i'd be a foul not to apply.

Everything is going very well up here in San Fran.
Working 10-hour days and loving it.
It seems that being out in the field has always suited me best.
I'm working with some great geologists and learning a lot.
(Usually you have to sink or swim on your own at a job site.)
I miss Westwood like mad.

Why is that we always start off with the best intentions...only to watch them completely crumble. I had high hopes for this weekend. I told myself that I would do ALL of the work I'd needed to do and work on my resume. I told myself that I would complete all of this before Monday so I could enjoy at least one day of the weekend guilt-free.
Well, of course here it is... Monday night and I'm still working. Of course, I've had my share of naps over the past 2.5 days, but I guess we won't talk about that part. It's so terrible when you know yourself so well. And you know exactly how you're going to blow it because you have to do a bunch of stuff that you don't want to do.
At least I entered the banner contest. Cuz that was so important and all. Hehehe
